This is a pride test. I will warn you, it is not easy. If it were it wouldn’t be much of a test.

How do you think this country compares with the Bible? Do you think that it is founded on Christian principles? Then maybe you should examine your beliefs.

This country was founded by people who would not pay their taxes: people who rebelled against their king and introduced a system of government where the people choose the leaders. The Bible says, “Pay your taxes” (Rom 13:7), obey the king (Rom 13:1&2), and God, not man, chooses leaders.

Around the forth of July, when you celebrate the Founding Fathers, you are celebrating rebels that would not pay their taxes, would not obey their king and did not want God to choose their leaders, and you do not want God to choose either! You vote don’t you! Do you think the God that spoke the universe into existence needs your input?

It is one thing to say you believe God and another to do it. I am afraid we believe in God, but we do not believe God. Even Satan believes in God. God says He appoints the authorities and we say we vote them into office. One of us is wrong.

It should be clear that this country was not founded on Christian principles and just as clear that it does not follow those principles. Every time you vote, you make the statement that you know who should lead. “O”, you might pray and ask God to lead you, but it should be obvious that He does not. If He did then every president that was elected would have been the one you voted for.

I have yet to meet anyone who believed in democracy. Democracy consists of the people choosing a leader and following that leader until his, or her term expires. Though we do choose a leader absolutely no one follows. Everyone second guesses, opposes, and criticizes every decision they make: and without all of the information available to the leader. The truth of the matter is “everyone believes in themselves”. If the leader makes a decision that you do not agree with, he is wrong and if he makes a decision you do agree with, he is right. Who do you think you are?

It should be apparent that if you think you know how to lead this country better than those whom God permitted to be appointed then you are not humble. God has already chosen the King of Kings to lead. He is only permitting our temporary choices to show us, beyond a doubt that we are not capable either to choose, or to lead.

This started out to rebuke you and I do (I must for my own good (Lev 19:17 NIV) Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt). If it helps I was also guilty of believing in this Government, but now I see and I repent.

There may yet be some hope, if it is not too late. (2 Chr 7:14 NIV) “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

I hope God does not mean only
Israel and I pray we will awake, humble ourselves, pray, seek the will of God, and turn from our wicked ways.

The test was to be able to read all of this post. It was not easy and if you see the truth presented here it will not be easy to live with either. It’s not easy for me: if that is of any benefit.

(Prov 9:8 NIV)  Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you. You gotta love me!!!!!!!
