THE REVELATION TO SHOW SERVANTS WHAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE.

Rev 1:1 (NIV) The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

That is the first verse in Revelation. It is written to all of the servants of Jesus Christ and because we have the advantage of knowing history, then we can better understand Revelation than all of those before us.

How close are we to what must soon take place? Well, “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.” (Rev 16:12 NIV) The Euphrates has been drying up for the last ten years!

I just read an Islamic website that reported a plague of snakes was a result of the fall of the water levels of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers! Hummmmm

There is only one more bowl to be poured out. (Rev 16:17 NIV) The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

Revelation 20 says that Satan will be released for a short while and he will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth (all of the nations). Surely, it is apparent that the nations are all gathering together against Israel, which are God’s people.

We are clothed with Christ (Gal 3:27) and God tells us to keep our clothes with us, so that we do not go naked and be shamefully exposed (Rev 16:15) In other words, do not worry about the end of time. Just keep listening to God by reading His Word and His Word is mostly about Jesus Christ (Our Clothing).

One Response to THE REVELATION TO SHOW SERVANTS WHAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE.

  1. Jerome E. Goodwin Sr. says:

I repeat “Revelation was a revelation to john of who Jesus was. In the Revelation it says about the Apocalypse “Except those days be shortened for the Elects sake” Short can be zero. So don’t let go of your faith.”
