That is an odd caption is it not?
Lately, I have been considering the first sin of all mankind when Eve and then Adam ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Good and Evil. It was a sin of unbelief, just as all sins are. Eve did not believe God; that she would die if she ate it. She chose to believe Satan instead. Then Adam also did not believe God, as he chose to believe Eve.
Because of our understanding of death, we do not see that both Adam and Eve died immediately, when they ate the forbidden fruit.
Death is not the end of awareness, but it is separation. The first death is separation from the universe and everything in it. The second death is separation from God. Adam and Eve were separated from God, when they received the knowledge of good and evil.
When I read this part of the Bible I used to say to myself “I must know what God wants, so I can do what God wants” so, I must know good and evil”. Subconsciously, I was actually saying that the fruit of good and evil was bad for Adam and Eve, because it caused their death, but good for me! Yes, I was wrong and it is probably easer for others to see than it was for me to see. In my own mind I was saying that God was wrong, that the knowledge of good and evil was a good thing to possess! Well, I never claimed to be a mental giant.
Now I understand that the knowledge of good and evil is not a requirement for doing what my God wants me to do. God tells us what He wants us to do in Luke chapter 10.
(Luke 10:26-28 NIV) “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” He answered: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”
One does not have to know good and evil do accomplish this.
The only thing that the knowledge of good and evil does is to allow a person to judge and we are told not to judge. That is not to judge others, but we must judge ourselves. That is to say if we are Christian then we must have already judged ourselves in order to admit that we have sinned and we need a Savior.
Let me demonstrate this concept to you.
We have just had a tragedy here in the United States, where a man shot to death a woman that was interviewing another woman along with the cameraman that was taking the video of the interview.
The shooter was a homosexual, black man and I only say this because it is necessary to know, so that one can understand why it happened.
I saw the station manager on television say that he did not understand why this happened and I almost fell over!
Many have been saying that the black man was insane, but it seems to me that he was only a convert to the news media’s propaganda.
Over and over the media has been lying to black people. They have been telling, and or implying, that white people are suppressing black people in every way possible. That is just a lie. Then they have also been saying and implying that all straight people hate and suppress homosexuals, which is also a lie.
Then, when a black, homosexual man believes their propaganda, they do not understand why he lashes out and kills an “unarmed white women’. “O”, I don’t believe I heard that phrase said! Yet, if the woman had been black, that is the only phrase that I would have heard! Well, actually it would have been “An unarmed black woman”.
And the station manager doesn’t understand why the shooting happened! Isn’t that amazing?
It is also clear as to why the man shot himself. He believed that everyone was against him and therefore there was no future left for him.
I am not judging, or condemning, these people. It is a tragic situation for everyone involved. I am only trying to point out the sin that we are so immersed in.
Those who direct the path of the news media think that they are helping black people and homosexuals by lying to the public, but lies never accomplish good. But then perhaps they are just lying because that is what makes them the most money.
Just so you understand that I am not trying to present myself on a higher level than anyone else, I know that it is wrong for me to look at others sin, and yet I have. I have looked at the sin of both the shooter, and those who drove him over the brink.
Just as I finished this post I heard that a policeman was executed by an armed black man. He walked up behind the officer, which he did not even know, and shot him to death. It is clear to me that the black man was pushed over the edge by the lies that have been repeated over and over.
Someone that never examines themselves will always blame someone else for their problems and the news media gave that black man the mythical villain to blame and in his own mind, he killed that villain. Unfortunately, he actually murdered an innocent man in the process. I am not saying that the shooter was innocent, only that he is not the only one that is to blame.
So, to explain my caption, look at your own sin, so you know what to stop, but do not look at the sins of others, because you cannot stop them.
The choice of, to sin or not to sin, must be available. Do not stand in the way of those who want to sin (Psalms 1:1). If it was God’s will that the choice be removed, then He would do so. As for myself, I will stop others from sinning, when God does. Well, that is if God would grant me the power to do so.
Now I have to laugh at myself again. I would have to be able to see the future, in order to know if someone was going to sin and if I stopped that person from sinning then the future would be changed and what I saw was not really the future!
You have to be able to laugh at yourself to be a student.
