THIS IS A PLUTOCRACY, NOT A DEMOCRACY.

December 6, 2007

Well actually it is a Plutocracy-Kleptocracy-Kakistocracy under the guise of a Democracy.

It is only the natural evolution of a government that is by the people. Everyone is somewhat corrupt: some more than others, but still all men sin. (The man that says he doesn’t just added to his sin, because he knows better) All men have their own wants and desires, so there are times when decisions are made that are more in favor of those desires than for the public good. That would be a sin as the elected official takes an oath to carry out the duties of the office, which includes protecting the citizens: even from himself.

There are many problems that a Democracy contains, but one of them is that only the rich can afford to run for office. The working man must spend his time making a living. There is no time or money to campaign for office. So it is only logical that the rich become the majority that hold political office.

This leads to Kleptocracy as the rich never have enough (Eccl 5:10 if you are blind to reality and need a Biblical verse) and when they have the power to acquire more the temptation is great and some yield to it.

Of course it continues as a Plutocracy because the rich will not give up power, so the government becomes a Plutocracy-Kleptocracy.

Then of course Kakistocracy rears its ugly head as those in government become even more unprincipled in their attempt to obtain more wealth. Then the government becomes a Plutocracy-Kleptocracy-Kakistocracy, but it is called a democracy, because then those in charge can blame the people and the people actually think they are in control and can change the course of history, so it makes it somewhat easy.

How often I have heard “We’ll vote those so and sos out of office and replace them with someone that will do the right thing”, but we still have NAFTA and no one is calling for change and you still have the taxes and laws that were imposed by those who were not doing “the right thing”. Are you ever really successful in choosing someone that does right?

Actually that is where the blame lies. We have all put our trust in man and not God. We have a system where man chooses his own leaders. This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Not a country of God, by God, and for God as it should be.

Take me for instance. I am supposed to vote for the “right candidate”. I have asked myself what my qualifications are for this responsibility. I only know what the candidate says about himself, which is always good and what his opponent says about him, which is always bad. It is said that I can check the candidate’s record and determine the best man for the job, but candidates do not always have records and there is not enough time to check all records; or the accuracy and authenticity of those records. Even if this were possible I have never found a candidate that agreed with me on every important issue.

Then you must consider that I am not qualified to occupy the office. I don’t know how to do the job, but I am supposed to be able to choose the most qualified! Tell me how that is supposed to work. How long would a business last if the workers chose the CEO?

Wouldn’t they choose the one that paid the most and demanded the least? Or how long would a country last if the privates chose the Generals? Would that army ever go to war? Democracy is the only system that I can think of where the unqualified and ignorant are supposed to choose their leaders. If it were not already a system of government it would make a good plot for a science fiction story.

When I consider myself trying to accomplish the work of a leader I have to take into account that no one knows the future. Who really knows if some bill will succeed with its intended purpose or if it will cause some other problem worse than the first? Or who knows if an honest candidate will change when they are in office and become dishonest?

Today we are faced with a great recession. I believe because the political party that is in charge seized the opportunity to look good and started a war, but in order to hide the cost of the war and so to still look good, they borrowed from China, Mexico and others. It seems that they will do anything to keep the lenders from demanding repayment. That would give the game away. So anything the lenders want is granted. Which includes requiring American workers to directly compete with foreign workers and of course we can not. We must pay American prices and American taxes and that can not be accomplished with Chinese wages.

I may be wrong about what led up to the Government giving our manufacturing jobs to any and all foreign countries, but they did and I see no hope of recovery. Our problems are not because loans were to easily acquired, or the interest rate rose too much, but because all of our manufacturing jobs were given to any foreign country that wanted them. So much for protecting the citizens: every foreign worker from every foreign country was given a huge competitive advantage over all American workers.

Because the government borrowed to finance this war we not only must pay for the war, but we must also pay interest on it. Makes me wonder how we are going to pay the necessary taxes when we don’t even have a job. “O”, wait a minuet, they will just raise our taxes! There is a limit, even if one has a job, that taxes can be raised and the people still exist and we were very close to it when we had jobs.

We are supposed to exist by working at fast food restaurants, but even they will fail when no one can buy a hamburger and if you have no job you can’t. Service jobs are created and continue to exist because of the revenue generated by manufacturing jobs: eliminating manufacturing jobs leads to the termination of service jobs.

You do not build a fast food restaurant in the middle of nowhere and expect factories to be constructed around it, but the opposite is true and if the factories are closed the service facilities must close shortly thereafter.

I see two Biblical principles that have been ignored: do not put your trust in man and the borrower is servant to the lender.

God doesn’t stop sin. He allows it so that we may to prove to ourselves beyond a doubt that we are not perfect and that we need a savior, and He even provided the Savior. In this case He has just given us enough rope to hang ourselves: and we did.

We reap what we sow. Repent and place your trust in God. It may not save the country, but it will help with your own salvation.

THIS IS REALLY WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ECONOMY.

October 25, 2007

Go get a bullet to bite on because this is painful.

I am not a stock broker, politician, or anyone else that has a reason to pull the wool over your eyes. I am just a poor slob that can see what happened and I am disgusted enough to tell it.

Let’s say the problem started with NAFTA (North American Foolish Trade Agreement), after all we have to start somewhere and I don’t have enough time to go all the way back to the Revolutionary War.

When those in the government passed NAFTA they assured foreign workers an advantage over americans. They did this under the guise of free trade: that free trade was fair to all. However workers in South America do not have the same standard of living enjoyed in the US. So anything that is made in the US can be made cheaper in South America.

Just after NAFTA was passed our exports to Mexico and South America increased dramatically: they were buying machine tools and equipment in order to build manufacturing plants. These facilities, when complete would manufacture goods cheaper than plants in the US. In other words they were only buying from us what they needed to take our jobs.

You have to ask yourself why your own government would pass such a bill; at least I have to ask myself. Was it complete incompetence? Or was it because those who were suppose to protect Americans had investments in manufacturing business that could benefit from much lower labor costs. Whatever caused the government to pass the bill it is obvious that it was not in the interest of the people of the United States.

If that was not bad enough they gave China “Most favored Nation” status. China is a socialist government that is trying to become the largest super power in the world. China would like nothing more than to ruin our economy: and they have.

You see it is really very simple. There is nothing made that can not be made cheaper in China. So in passing just two bills our own government has totally destroyed the middle class of the US. If you work in any manufacturing job in the US and haven’t lost your job yet, you will; it is just a matter of time as anything made can be made cheaper in China. (I told you to bite a bullet, didn’t I?)

You want a laugh? We are supposed to compete with those who make a few dollars a day and yet manufactures in the US must pay minimum wages! The bottom line is, though we must compete, it is illegal!!! Well, it is a laugh, but a bitter one.

We are just beginning to see the result of what I would call a criminal act. The housing industry can not sell a house because no one can buy a house working at a fast food restaurant and those kinds of jobs are all that is left. Nor can the car manufactures sell cars, for the same reason. It should be apparent that interest rates mean nothing to someone who has no job. Who is going to loan money to someone with no job?

Is it any wonder the stock market is in turmoil? You don’t get something for nothing so the logical result of a stronger “world economy” is a weaker US economy.

My friends I don’t have a solution to the problem. Everyone keeps telling me that if I don’t like the government to vote, but we just get a new set of politicians and they do the same things the others did. This government is of the people, by the people, and for the people and those people would be the ones in charge, not poor slobs like me.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HOUSING INDUSTRY

July 31, 2007

Well, in a nut shell, two things. The government did not enforce the law and when it didn’t the Housing Industry opted to make a quick buck instead of demanding that the government enforce the law.

There already were laws that prohibited hiring illegal aliens. These laws were enacted in order to protect the jobs of the American people. That is supposed to be the main interest of the government, but it is obvious that the main interest of the government is how much those who run the government can benefit by what the government does, or does not do.

When one company in any local job market hired illegal aliens the others in the same field of endeavor had two choices. One was to monitor the hiring practices of the rouge business and demand that the government enforce the law. The other choice was to copy the rouge businesses illegal practice.

It was obvious that they could get away with it because the government was not doing its sworn duty, and it was just as obvious that there was a quick buck in it. No one thought any farther than that, so no one realized that if American workers lost their jobs there would be no buyers for their houses.

The illegal workers were sending as much of their wages as they could to their home in Mexico, because that is where they intended to return to. They were not going to buy a house here and those who might have bought a house here no longer could (No job, you know).

Anyway the immigration problem is solving its self. The Housing Industry can not sell a house, so it can no longer afford to build them. If no houses are being built there are no more jobs, even for illegal workers. If there are no jobs most of the illegals will return home as that is where they always planed to go anyway. Maybe they can be hired to put wheels on all those houses, so they can take them to their own country; where all the money went.

Well, that is not the entire problem the North American Foolish Trade Act and the Most Favored Nation (over our own) are the main problems, but no one is doing anything about any of the problems. I mean no body, not the News Media, not the Government, not the economists,

NOOO    BODDDYYY.

By the way, I see that the Ford Motor Company made a profit last quarter, by selling cars in other countrys. WELL  DUH.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE A JOB, THANK A POLITICAN

July 12, 2007

Politicians passed NAFTA and politicians voted China the status of “Most favored Nation”, so it was politicians that ruined our economy. Yes, it is ruined and personally I don’t see any hope for recovery. If you used to have a job in manufacturing, or if you used to work in any trade that depends on others having even a moderate amount of money you know what I mean. How about a little analogy to explain just what I mean.

Bob and Bill are competitors in the same kind of business located In the USA. They both manufacture widgets. Each widget cost both business $2 to make. They compete by sales promotions of one kind or the other. Both business are stable and hire many employees.

Then the politicians pass the North American Free Trade Agreement. Bob sees that if he moves his business to Mexico it would be possible to drastically lower his cost of manufacturing. Labor costs will be much lower, there would be little, or no government regulations, such as OSHA. It is almost a win win opportunity.

So Bob does move to Mexico. Now he has a distinct advantage and he can undercut Bill by a large margin, but of course he only undercuts him enough to take all of the business and pockets the rest (That’s the name of the game).

Bill sees what is happening and he realizes that he must also move to Mexico. To remain where he is would only lead to bankruptcy.

So what just happened? All of the employees just lost their jobs.

Why, do you say?  So the business could make more money.

Didn’t the politicians know what would result? The truth is they didn’t care (then).

All politicians are rich. They are the ones that own the businesses, or stock in the businesses.

Anyone, with even half of a brain, can see that this would and did happen to all of our manufacturing businesses. We are told that our economy is changing to a service orientated type. That is definitely true as there are no more manufacturing jobs.

The problem with that is service jobs generate no income for the country and because service jobs require parts and equipment there is a constant drain on our wealth.

We had import duties which kept this from happening before NAFTA. Those who should have put the American workers needs ahead of their, and foreign countries interests, did just the opposite.

Our “Most favored Nation” designation of China is even worse than NAFTA.

Now I have a few questions that this generated.

Who is going to buy widgets when they have no job?

Who is going to buy anything when they have no job?

Who is going to pay the taxes necessary to support our country?

By the way, all politicians are responsible for the downfall of our economy. Democrats started it and Republicans have done nothing to stop it. What do you expect as they are all rich.

Buy the way, by the way, if you think this is not your problem, or it will not effect you then you are about to learn all about economical recession in the real world (your world).

What I have said is only common sense, but you don’t have to take my word for it. Jump in your car and take a ride through the retail section of your town or city (If you can afford the gas) and notice how many businesses are gone. They are gone because people no longer have money to buy what they were selling.

You don’t even have to go to that much trouble. If you are reading this you are on the web. Just check out the news about the housing industry, and the automobile industry.

Very few are buying because very few have a job and those who did buy when they had a job are losing everything.

The only thing I could suggest is to pray to God to get us out of this, but to be truthful I don’t know why He would.

WE DO NOT HAVE AN IMMIGRATION PROBLEM!!!!

June 12, 2007

We really have a problem with the government. The Mexican people that have come here came for jobs that paid better than the jobs available in their home country. These are basically honest people that only want to work for a living.

We have laws against hiring illegal aliens, but the government is not enforcing them. If the government enforced the law then there would be no jobs available for illegal aliens and they would go home of their own accord.

Those who are in power are all well to do. They have investments in business in this country and when those businesses make more money the stock holders make more.

If the cost of labor is reduced and the cost of the product, or service is kept the same the profit is increased. Not only will the illegal work for less, but because he, or she is illegal they pay no tax, which further lowers the cost of labor.

The average American worker does not realize that income tax is about 19% of his wages. Then another 11% is taken out of his pay for social security, and then another 11% is taken by requiring the employer to pay it. That 11% is hidden because the worker never even sees it. That is a total of approximately 41% (Boy we really came a long way sense the founders of this country wouldn’t pay tax on tea. There wasn’t any tax at all on what a man made back then)

Big business owners are smart enough to third party the hiring of illegal aliens. This is accomplished by using another company to supply the work force. That way when any action is taken for breaking the law some poor dumb slob takes the fall and then the business just finds another slob to supply workers.

Then we have imports of goods with no import duty. No American company can compete with a foreign company that has lower labor costs and does not have to obey all the restrictions that are imposed on American business. Because of this most American manufacturing companies are either out of business or have had to have their products made in another country. In all fairness it is either have the product made and imported or go out of business altogether.

The end result is Americans no longer have jobs in manufacturing. Jobs in manufacturing pay much more than service jobs. They also create other well paying jobs (truck drivers, other manufacturing jobs, etc).

Now you are wondering if what I said is correct. Let me ask you a question. Can someone who is working at a fast food restaurant buy a house, or a new car? Is the housing industry selling new houses or many houses at all? Are the auto manufacturers able to sell their cars?

Let me ask you another question. If only a few people are paying income tax and there is no tax collected from imports how the heck are we going to pay for all of the military actions that we are taking?

If China was trying to ruin our economy they could not have found a better way and it only works because of greed. I believe that it is obvious that those who are in power do not care about the citizens.

I’m including this in religious tags so you can see this is not a Christian Country. The God this Country trusts has “In God we trust” printed right on it.
