(Mark 13:14 NIV) “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong–let the reader understand–then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
(Mat 24:15&16 NIV) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel–let the reader understand–then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
(Dan 12:9 NIV) He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

This is the time of the end and so the words are no longer closed up and sealed.

The statue that king Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream was/is explained in the second chapter of the book of Daniel.

I must plagiarize some of Daniel’s writing because it parallels my understanding. ‘No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to you this mystery, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown me what will happen in days to come. As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than other living men, but so that you may know the interpretation and that you may understand.’

The key to understanding this abomination is the statue that king Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream. This statue represents all of the governments of the earth. You see, all of the governments of the earth are abominations to God.

In the Kingdom of God, when everything is as it should be, there will be only one government, only one King, and only one God.

All of the governments of the earth attempt to take the place of God. They make laws to force the people do what they want. All of the prophecies that God told Israel that a king would do to them are true of any government of men that has ever been on this earth.

Governments are really only agents of wrath (Rom 13:4). However, the people view governments as an authority that will make life better for them! How can an agent of wrath take the place of God and make things better? Governments or authorities were established by God to punish those who do wrong, not to solve all of our problems and make life perfect.

Abominations that cause desolation are like antichrists in that there are many of them. As Scripture says anyone who denies Jesus is an antichrist (John 2:18-22). Just as there are many antichrists there are many governments that bear the title of ‘the abomination that causes desolation’. Actually they all bear the same title and they have all caused desolation.

However, there is one supreme antichrist and that is Satan, and there is one supreme government that causes desolation and that is Islam.

“O” yes, Islam is a government as well as a religion. It was created by Satan and the sole purpose of Islam is to destroy the true God’s kingdom on this earth. The kingdom of God is in us (Luke 17:20&21) and Islam is commanded, by their god of death and destruction, to destroy us, thereby destroying the kingdom of God.

The abomination that causes desolation is the statue in the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar, spoken of in Daniel (Dan 2:31-35). It represents all of the governments, kingdoms, democracies or any form of authority that exists on this earth and they will be completely destroyed: swept away without leaving a trace (Dan 2:35).

Soon all of the governments of this earth will attack and defeat Israel and as one they will stand on the Holy Mountain, but just as it is said, the statue will be destroyed by a rock, not cut out by human hands, and that rock will become a mountain and fill the whole earth.

(Mark 13:14 NIV) “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong–let the reader understand–then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

The words are no longer sealed and we can understand.

I have no plans to visit Judea, so I have a pretty good head start toward the mountains.

Having said that, I know that God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, until all of those who worshiped Him were safely away. I view this as an example of the end, so I do not think I will be on this earth to view God’s wrath.

That is right those who commit atrocities in the name of Allah are not radical Islamist. They are fundamental Islamist.

Jews and Christians are the children of the God of the Bible and the Koran demands that the followers of Allah kill the children of God.

The differences between the two religions are very clear and easy to see if you compare what a fundamentalist of either religion do.

A fundamentalist is one who rigidly adheres to the basic principals of their religion.

The fundamental Christian will do absolutely nothing to harm anyone; even their enemies! They will not lie to, or kill their enemies, because their religious guidebook forbids it.

The fundamental Islamist will lie to their enemies and kill them if they do not surrender to them and their god, because that is what their religious guidebook demands.

Islam singles out Jews and Christians as their enemy. The goal of Islam is to destroy all of the children of the God of the Bible. Islam must control the entire world in order to accomplish its basic goal of destroying God’s children and that is the cause of the recent wars and strife that the world is facing.

God and Allah cannot be the same God. Both claim they are God, but they have entirely opposite goals. Allah teaches hate, but God teaches love. Allah teaches it is right to lie to others, but God teaches it is not right to lie to anyone. Allah teaches it is right to kill those who do not summit to it, but God teaches it is not right to kill anyone.

Isn’t it clear that Islam was founded by the enemy of God and its goal is to oppose God?

Would a god that teaches it is right to lie to others, not lie to them? Would a god that teaches it is right to kill others, not kill them? Who, in their right mind, would worship such a god?

If we use the term “Radical Islamist” to identify terrorists, that commit atrocities in the name of Allah, we give Islam a free pass and it is not blamed as the root cause. The true title of those who kill in the name of Allah is “fundamentalist” and Islam “is” the root cause of the atrocities.

Those who say that Islam is a religion of peace are not fundamentalist. There are many who call themselves Christians that are not fundamentalist as well. Both are lukewarm and really have no religion, they only think that they have.

I have read this phrase many times and did not understand it. Recently, as I read it again, I thought that it was not time to know the answer, but then I thought, we are so close to the end of this age it must be time. As I had this thought an answer was given me.

If you read anything that I write, you know that I am not a teacher, so you should understand that I am not teaching. I am only trying to explain what I believe God has revealed to me.

The abomination that causes desolation would have to be something that opposes God. Our Father is love and the giver of all life, so the abomination that causes desolation would be something that causes hate and death. Ask yourself what in this world, at this time, is causing hate and death?

Is it not Islam?

Islam is the abomination that causes desolation. It is a religion that was created only to destroy God’s children: both Jews and Christians. The children of Islam are taught from birth to hate Jews and Christians. It’s goals are to dominate the world and kill. It offers nothing else. There is no forgiveness for the followers of Islam, especially for women as they are treated as if they are children of God; the same as Jews and Christians.

Daniel says, “And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation”, and there is the Islamic “Dome of the Rock” on the Temple Mount and it looks to me that it could be viewed as, “on a wing of the Temple”. The most Holy Place to a Jew is the Temple Mount and there is a mosque, a house of prayer to another god, proudly displayed inside the Temple walls.

We are told, (Mat 24:15&16 NIV) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel–let the reader understand– then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” This seems as though it is a final warning. That when you see it the end has come, but the abomination that causes desolation was set up in the middle of the seven (Dan 9:27). Perhaps it means that, when you understand what the abomination is, then the end is near.

Islam causes desolation for everyone, even it’s own followers.

Does anyone understand how odd or different it is that there is a religion that its sole purpose is to oppose another religion? What other religion, or religions, can this be said of?

The most important thing that God has done for mankind is to give us a Savior. That Savior had to be pure in order to qualify to be a Savior. Our Savior had to come directly from God to be pure. That is Jesus, the Son of God, but the Koran says Allah had no son.

You see, this when viewed with truth, is true. God had a Son and He sent Him to earth to save those who would love Him and He gives life to those who do. Allah has no son and wants none. Allah is not going to save anyone. He can not, even if he wanted to. His followers claim that they love death more than life and that is all Allah offers.

Who but Satan could, or would, create a religion to oppose God. If Satan set this religion up, who do you think Allah is? Wouldn’t he claim to be God? And of course, he could not use any name of the true God, therefore he chose Allah for a name and Mohammad for his prophet.

The Koran does not use the same names of characters that the Bible uses. If it did one would immediately see through the deception.

Islam is as Islam does. It is a lie to call Islam a peaceful religion. Those who want to believe Islam is a peaceful religion have been deceived and we should feel sorry for them, rather than hate them.

Satan is only stirring up hate and trying to condemn all mankind. He cannot kill us himself as God will not give him that power, so he does the next best thing and tricks those that follow him to kill: especially kill the children of God. God would not allow Satan to kill Job (Job 2:6) and I, for one, do not believe God will allow Satan to kill me.

If you are a child of God, then remember this, no one can kill you. It is true that Satan can remove you from this earth and it seems that you are killed, but to remove you from this earth is to place you into Heaven: you will never die. If Satan does not remove you from this earth God will. Everyone must die the first death, whether or not, they are the children of God. Do not deny Christ, because Satan demands it.

Pity the followers of Allah, do not hate them. They are only killing themselves, when they kill others.

By the way, the Koran requires Islamic believers to lie to those who are not believers. So, they are required to claim that Islam is a peaceful religion. Have you ever been deceived? Pity them, do not hate them.

You might think that I am a one who believes in conspiracy theories.

Well, the events of 9/11/01 were caused by a conspiracy. Moreover, I might add, a Muslim conspiracy.

The two passengers that boarded Flight 370 were Iranians and Iran is a Muslim country and a refuge for Muslims.

If you draw a line from the last known position of Flight 370 to Beijing and measure it, to determine how far the plane was fueled to go, and then sweep that line to the west, it is apparent that the plane could reach Iran. I might add that any airplane must carry some reserve in case of a delay reaching its destination, so if one uses the reserve, the distance can be increased.

If a country has manufactured an atomic bomb, the next step is to build a means to deliver it to the target.

My first thought was the plane was stolen in order to remake it into a bomber. However, one doesn’t have to remake anything, if the whole airplane is the bomb.

Muslims have already demonstrated that they are willing to die for their beliefs, so the only thing that must be done to a 777 in order to make it the means to deliver a bomb is to load it.

If you think this a wild idea and therefore not worthy of consideration, then what about 9-11?

I have not written anything lately, because I find everything in the Bible fits together; like a jigsaw puzzle. When I start explaining something I believe God has given me, I find myself going off the subject because I begin to explain how I view another piece of the puzzle: because one has to understand the second piece before one can understand the first piece.

Well, this is too important piece of understanding to give up on. So please bear with me and I will try to stay on the subject.

I am going to try to explain the differences between Islam and Christianity. I am commanded by God to speak the truth as I understand it: because I am a Christian. I am charged with this simple rule no matter who I am speaking to, so I will speak the truth to both Christians and Muslims.

Both religions have a book from which they gain understanding from. Christians use the Bible and Muslims the Koran. Some confusion results when the gods spoken of in the two books are viewed as the same god. With only a little comparison, it is clear that the god of Islam is the mortal enemy of the God of the Bible.

Both gods claim that they do not change. The God of the Bible says that He has a son. The god of Islam says he has no son. If the God of the Bible says that He has a Son and then says he does not then He would have changed. So the two are not one.

The most important message of the Bible is that we all fall short of the glory of God, that we all need a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus. This work was completed with the death of Jesus and all that was written about it completed within 100 years after his death.

Then about 500 years later the Koran was dictated to Mohammed by an angel. An angel is only a messenger. An angel can be a messenger of Satan or a messenger of God. The message reveals whether it comes from God or Satin. If God sent His son to bear the punishment for the sins of the world and someone, or something denies that claim, then that someone or something would be an antichrist. They would be an enemy of the God of the Bible. The Words of the Bible warn of the coming of an antichrist 500 years before he or it came!

I will admit that one book is true and one is a counterfeit. Can a counterfeit be created before the original?

The God of the Bible gave man a golden rule and that is “Do to others what you would have them do to you”. If everyone obeyed that rule there would be world peace. There would be no murder, theft, lies, or any other offense against anyone. There would be no police, government, or rulers of any kind, as there would be no need for them. You would not want to rule over another, because you do not want to be ruled over. There would be no Islam; because Islam demands submission and submission would not be necessary if everyone followed the second royal law.

The God of the Bible does not violate His own rules. He does not demand submission to Himself. Everyone has the power to do anything he or she wants. No one is forced to glorify the God of the Bible, but those who think about it will do so from their heart. Those are the ones who will live with God and be happy forever. They are the friends of God and when this is all over, God will throw His enemies out of His kingdom, just as any one would. Who wants to live forever with their enemies?

As a Christian, I understand that every Muslim is the enemy of the God of the Bible, an antichrist, but as a Christian, I am commanded to love my enemies! That is not to say hug and kiss them, but to “do to them as I would have them do to me”, so if you follow Islam, let me warn you. You will indeed spend eternity with your god. When Allah is thrown out of the presence of God, you will also be thrown out! You will spend eternity with a god that commanded his followers to kill and lie in order to further his cause and his cause is to have everyone declare him God! If Allah wants you to lie to others, in order to further his cause, is he lying to you?

Whether you are Christian or Muslim, think about what I have said. The God of the Bible will not stop you; because He has nothing to fear, but Allah would and he will even have you killed for it!

August 2, 2010

I wrote this for those who do not follow all of the comments on this Blog. I attempt to answer most of the comments of any reader, so I have already written about this, but not all read the comments and I thought it important enough to post.

It is said by many that Yahweh and Allah are the same God. Both books that explain Islam and Christianity are available on the Web so let us examine them and determine for ourselves if they are the same God.

Both books claim their God does not change.

The Koran, (The Originator 35.43) (In) behaving proudly in the land and in planning evil; and the evil plans shall not beset any save the authors of it. Then should they wait for aught except the way of the former people? For you shall not find any alteration in the course of Allah; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah

(The Victory 48.23) Such has been the course of Allah that has indeed run before, and you shall not find a change in Allah’s course

(Quaf 50.29) My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants.

The Bible, (Num 23:19 NIV) God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    (Mal 3:6 NIV)  “I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.                                                                                                                                    (James 1:17 NIV)  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

So if either book disagrees with the other then they can not be the same God, for that would be change.

The most important thing in the Bible is that God had a Son and that Son was crucified for our salvation. (I will not list every verse in the Bible or Koran that supports my points, because both books claim God does not change, therefore it is not necessary to list every verse)

(Mat 3:17 NIV) And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”                                                                                                                (Mat 28:5 NIV) The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

So what does the Koran say about God having a Son and that person being crucified?

(The Women 4.171) O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

(4.157) And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

You can see by the text of the two books they do not agree, and not only disagree, but disagree with the very basic and the most important subject matter of the Bible.

The Bible says Jesus is the Messiah, (John 4:25&26 NIV) “The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus declared, “I who speak to you am he.””.

The Koran also lists a Messiah, (The Family of Imran 3.45) “When the angels said: O Marium, surely Allah gives you good news with a Word from Him (of one) whose name is the ‘. Messiah, Isa son of Marium, worthy of regard in this world and the hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah).”

Of course the Koran does not name Jesus, but calls the Messiah “Isa”, probably because Jesus means “God saves”. The word Messiah means “A leader who is regarded as or professes to be a savior or liberator”. The Messiah in the Koran saves no one.

It should be easy to understand that God would not command anyone to kill another over religion. No one knows what is in another’s heart (mind) and no man knows the future, so even if the other person does not believe in God now, he may turn to God later. God made everyone and God knows if that person will turn to Him, if you slay someone you have sealed their fate and prevented that person’s later salvation. But the Koran commands its followers to kill.

The Koran (The Women 4.89) “They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah’s way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.”

If you do not know what is in another’s heart and you do not know what someone will do in the future, then you are not qualified to judge that person and if you are not qualified to judge then you are not qualified to kill. Remember they have a lifetime to learn about God, and they may turn to your way; unless you end their time prematurely. God does know what is in each man’s heart and God also knows the future, so God alone is qualified to judge. Does no one realize that to kill someone is usurping God’s rights and altering God’s plan? If God wanted someone dead then dead they would be: He needs no help. Make no mistake; God would not command someone to judge another. The Judge is the one that pronounces the sentence and that should be God. We are only the jury that determines guilt. If we examine ourselves, in truth, we can see that we are all guilty and without a Savior we are all condemned.

Both books proclaim that in order to live with God after judgment one must believe in God. So what does it mean “believe in God”? Well, as I understand it means “Believe in the true God”. The God that is Love wants everyone to love everyone else. By that I mean only to “do to others as you would have them do to you”. If everyone would adhere to this simple rule there would be world peace. No one would kill his neighbor because his neighbor did not understand as he does.

The true God always adheres to His own rules. He has told us to “do to others as you would have them do to you” and that is what He also does. No one wants someone else to make them do anything. Anything that we do should be because we want to do it. God does not make anyone turn to Him. He has explained Himself to us through the Bible and He has explained to us what He wants us to do, but the choice is a personal choice. Make the right choice and live with God forever, or make the wrong choice and live forever without God.

God made us for a purpose and that purpose is so that He can have someone to love. After this age is over He wants to live forever with those that love Him in return. No one wants to live forever with their enemies and God is no exception. If you destroy what God made by killing others, you are the enemy of God and He will throw His enemies out of Heaven and anywhere without God is Hell.

One book is a counterfeit and the other genuine. The definition of counterfeit is – Made in imitation of what is genuine with the intent to defraud. Can one make a counterfeit before the genuine? Which book was written first?

Islam is a mixture of religion, government, and law. If everyone obeyed the second royal law of the Christian religion there would be no need of government or law.

First I must say that this country is basically a Christian country so any Muslim candidate would probably have to come from outside the USA. Though it is illegal to become president unless one is born a citizen, if enough bribes are paid, and the importance downplayed sufficiently it might be possible to circumnavigate the law.

It would be vitally necessary to hide the fact that he was a Muslim, both before the election and also after it. Before, because he would not stand a chance of being elected, and after to hide the motive for all of the damage he would do to the country. The USA is said to be an enemy to Islam and there would be no reason for a Muslim to attempt to become president other than to destroy this country.

One way to hide his religion would be to attend a Christian church before the election. There would be no reason or gain to continue after the election, unless it was becoming too obvious that he was Muslim. He could even justify lying about being a Christian, because Islam allows lies to further its goal of world dominance.

As president he could not pardon his fellow Muslims who have been imprisoned, but if he could close the prison, which would cause them to be moved to a less secure facility then perhaps they could escape. Even if they were not successful they would have a chance to kill more Americans before they were recaptured.

Perhaps he and those who help him could change the way the enemies of this country are tried for their crimes. If foreigners are given the same rights as natives and are not read their rights there is no way they can be found guilty. The truth is we can not even convict our own criminals and even if we could there is no room in prisons for them.

Those who do not understand that the president was a Muslim would not see clearly what was transpiring and would be clueless as to what was happening. Those that do understand the ways of Muslims would understand if the president bowed to a Muslim king and made statements such as Islam is a peaceful religion. That is if we would ever elect a Muslim president.

The president would believe that he would go down in history as the greatest president of the USA; because Muslims would write U.S. history after he destroyed it and he would be the one mainly responsible for the fall of the great Satan.

Anything that the president could do to weaken this country he would do. If he could weaken the economy, or cause civil unrest he would do so. It would be a wise move to make it seem as though it was an attempt to socialize the country instead of the real goal which would be to destroy it.

It would be a real feather in his cap when he belittled the leader of Israel and you can be sure he would. One of the very important things he would strive to do is to destroy the bond between Israel and the USA. That could be easily accomplished by demanding the ridiculous.

You might ask yourself if God would allow this to happen and the answer is not difficult to ascertain. We have decided to choose our own leaders, not relying on God and God lets man sin. How else can a stiff-necked people like us learn if He doesn’t let us make mistakes? If we elected a Muslim for our leader God would know it even before the man was born!

It seems to me to be a necessary step toward the end of time. You see Israel will not depend on God to protect them. In the past they have made alliances with many foreign countries instead of relying on God alone. That does not please God. It seems that the whole world will turn on Israel in the end times and so this country must also turn.

If we ever elect a Muslim for president he will think he is having great success, but he would only be doing God’s bidding. That is the one true God’s bidding. Israel will finally have to put their trust in the one true God, because there will be no one else to turn to. Once again God will rise up and defeat the enemies of Israel, but this time it will be the last time.

That is, if we ever elect a Muslim president.

The world seems to think God invented Hell for anyone that will not obey Him, but the world does not know or understand God. Hell is not designed as a punishment.

God will ultimately grant the desires of everyone’s heart. Those who love God and want to live with Him forever will get their wish. Those who hate God and do not want to live with Him forever will also get their wish.

This life is the time of decision. God has granted every one the right to decide where they wish to spend eternity, but the choice will be permanent.

It helps to understand everything if you know that death is only separation. The first death is physical. It is separation from the earth and everything in it. The second death that is spoken of in the Bible is separation from God.

God does not want to be separated from anyone, but He has given us the power to decide for ourselves if we want to live with Him or not. Love is not one sided. No one can make another love them, not even God. God can make one obey Him, but not love Him. No one, not even God wants to live with an enemy. There can be no peace if you live with your enemy and the life after the first death is forever, so living with your enemy forever would mean there would be no peace forever.

Bearing this in mind, we can see the Hell is not basically a punishment, but a separation. It is described as burning sulfur, but how can Hell be described? We do not even have an idea of what it would be like to be separated from God. We have been given life in God’s universe. We breathe God’s air, drink His water, live in His country, think with the mind He gave us, and work with the hands He gave us. If I tried to list everything God has given us, I could not.

I think the fire of Hell is a spiritual fire. Notice Isaiah 6:6&7 where the live coal does not burn, but removes guilt. Those in Hell will always be reminding themselves of their guilt with no chance of it being removed.

To say God is love, as the Bible does, and then say He will punish those who do not return His love, with an everlasting punishment, for not returning that love does not make any sense to me. However, it does make sense that at some point in time those who do not want to love God will be rejected by Him. It truly would be hell, to be separated from God forever, with no hope of reconciliation.

Bare in mind that Satan himself along with the worst of the worst men will be in hell and God will not intervene. Could there ever be any rest in Hell? Would anyone want to have to watch his or her back forever? Will not Satan be the king of Hell? Will he take out his frustration on his subjects? Who would stop him?

Having said all of this Hell actually would be a punishment, if only viewed from one angle, even though it was not designed by God to be so. The people of this world cannot understand spiritual things, so to them it seems only punishment. That is the only view they can see.

No one in Hell will blame God for his or her plight. They will know and understand it and say to themselves ‘It was my own damn fault’ (sorry that was just words from a song that got stuck in my mind).

March 8, 2010

If you have read my last post, you can see that there has to be a God. Something or someone had to create this universe.

Therefore, you ask why I made the statement that the only God that is possible is the God of the Bible. Well, not being a scholar of other religions I can only make that statement based on what I understand about what a God would have to be and then apply it to Christian and other religions.

A religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a supernatural agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. (Religion – Wikipedia Encyclopedia)

First, just so you understand what I mean when I use the word God, let me quote the first definition of the word “God” in the American Heritage Dictionary. “God”, a being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.

It is only logical to say that any religion that claims man can become God is flawed from the very start. Because the universe has to have been here before a man could have materialized, therefore man could not have made the universe. That includes any religion that claims reincarnation as there would have to be man, animals, or bugs before the universe.

As I pointed out in my last post, the universe is finite and therefore had to be created. That brings to mind the old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg. The answer depends on ones beliefs. If you believe in the God of the Bible, the answer is the chicken because God made it, but if you believe in evolution, your answer is the egg, because what ever laid it was not a chicken.

Any religion that promotes more than one God cannot be correct in their beliefs. If there were more than one that was the originator and ruler of the universe and if there were more than one who was perfect, omnipotent, and omniscient how would anyone know? They would be indistinguishable. They would always do the same thing, always say the same thing, and always do so perfectly. If any one of them did anything differently, they would prove themselves not perfect and therefore not God. It makes no difference if the gods were two or a thousand. The Bible says man is made in the image of God. I have many parts, but all of my parts are me. God may have many parts also, but if so, they are all parts of one God.

I had intended to group the religions of the world into those that worship many gods and those who think man could reach some form of enlightenment, along with atheism; which is a religion (A cause, a principle, or an activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion. (American Heritage Dictionary)), but that information is easily found and it would only serve to lengthen and maybe confuse some.

Personally, I have to laugh at anyone who believes one can reach a plateau of spiritual enlightenment and not even understand there is one God! But then I also have to laugh at those who believe in science and not in God. Science has really found the evidence of God and yet will not admit it. Scientists call it “Dark Matter” and “Dark Energy” when it really is “Light” and should be proclaimed physical evidence of God!

Intelligence is wonderful until it confuses instead of enlightens.

Anyway, it only takes a basic understanding of science to understand that the matter that makes up the universe is slowly (our concept of time) being dissolved and therefore is finite. Therefore, it had to be made and man could not have made it if there were no men. It does not take a lot of intelligence to see that God came before the universe, but one can use the gift of intelligence to deny it!

I do not think anyone believes in an idol or carved figure anymore, though I could be wrong. Usually an image is used to represent a god or system of belief and even Christians make that mistake. We often have paintings that represent Jesus and then there is the cross that is used to mark Christian Churches.

That leaves Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Christianity is really only Judaism that is taken to completion, so the two are really the same religion.

So what is left? Only Islam and Islam has some problems that stop me from believing in it. It is not logical to require a follower to murder someone if they do not say Allah is God.

First, anyone who believes there is no God would have no problem with saying anything to save his or her life. The words would mean nothing. If Allah is God then he would know what a man believes in his heart and again the words would mean nothing. Because no one knows what another really believes the words again would mean nothing.

The words would only mean something to someone that believes Allah is not God and that would be Jews and Christians. The words were only coined to give license to murder those who know the real God.

If Allah is God, he should be able to do his own killing and if he really is God then he would be the only one that truly knows who believes and therefore the only one that is qualified to take the life of an unbeliever, if that is he believes it is necessary in the first place.

If you are a Muslim and you believe someone should be murdered for not repeating Allah is God then don’t you see that you have to murder everyone? There is no way that you can be sure that anyone that says Allah is God truly believes it, and if someone does not truly believe it then what good is it? You cannot be sure that even your own brothers are truly Muslim! Anyone can mouth the words!

Then one has to seriously question a god that would require someone to carry out a command that is not possible to accomplish in truth. Could that god really be God?

Islam is truly a religion of submission, but it is a submission to men and not God. It is a religion where men murder in the name of a god. Moreover, they do so for personal gain, for what good is it to a God that already knows what is in some one’s heart?

If you believe me to be wrong then tell me how I am wrong, but do not brother trying to explain to everyone that I am not intelligent. I will not argue that. One because it isn’t relative and to do so will only show the lack of thought to what I said and prove the insulter foolish, and two because you just might be right!

If you have read much of what I have written you can see that I like to understand the basics. It is not possible to understand complicated issues if you do not understand the very bases from which they came. It is like building a house on sand. If the foundation shifts the house will fall. I spend most of my time digging around to find solid ground and the most solid of ground is stone. God is like a stone. He is solid ground and He doesn’t change.

Those that follow Islam believe in law and that in itself is not wrong, however they seem to spend all of their time examining others. They see others disobeying the law and they condemn them for doing so. It is not wrong to examine the errors of others, because if you know their mistakes you are less likely to make the same mistakes. However it is wrong to condemn others.

Consider Jonah. He hated the people of Nineveh and when God told him to go to that city and preach against it he tried not to. He knew that God would have compassion on the people if they turned form their wickedness and because he hated them he did not want God to show mercy on them.

After he was unsuccessful in avoiding the commands of God he did as God wanted, but his heart was not in it. The Ninevites did believe God, and they did turn from their evil ways, and God did have compassion on them, and He did not destroy them.

This infuriated Jonah so much he asked God to take his life. The man was full of hate and not love. He went to a place where he could view the city in hopes he could witness their destruction. Even though Jonah was full of hate God provided a vine to shade Jonah from the hot sun while he waited to see if God would destroy the city!

Jonah was only judging others and did not consider his own sin. He was only interested in his own comfort and so to demonstrate that to Jonah God made a worm to destroy the vine that shaded Jonah.

God made it clear to Jonah and to us that He was concerned about the people of Nineveh, after all it was God that formed everyone of them in the womb, and it was God that placed them in that city, it was God that furnished food to eat, water to drink, and air to breath, and it was God that wanted them to turn from their evil ways so that He could have mercy on them. To put it in our worldly way, God had a large investment in the people of Nineveh and Jonah had nothing invested.

God only wanted the people of Nineveh to stop their evil. It is evil and wrong to take the life of anyone that God has made. If you did not give life then what evil idea would make anyone think it was God’s wish that you have the right to judge someone that God made and take their life? The only justification for taking someone else’s life is self-defense. When someone is going to take your life you have the right to stop them, after all you also are made in the image of God.

So the basic thing wrong with Islam is the followers are not taught to examine their own sin. Like Jonah their hate for their fellow man far outweighs the wishes of God. Do not be like Jonah. Consider the love of God for all men and do not judge others. Judge yourself and plead guilty, then change your ways and God will have compassion on you.

God gave us a Savior, but if one never considers their own sin then they do not know they need a Savior! God puts up with the sin of others, even though He hates sin and we should also.

The basic difference between Islam and Christianity is one who really believes in Islam wants to kill anyone who doesn’t and one who really believes as a Christian wants to give life to anyone who doesn’t.

I don’t think God has much compassion for anyone who doesn’t really believe. He has made a universe and everything in it for man. Then He made every man and worked a plan for their salvation so that we could live with Him forever. After all the effort and work God has done for us do you think He would be pleased if we didn’t even believe He exists?  Judge for yourself which religion is the one God wants man to follow.

May God send a worm to destroy your shade if you show no compassion for your fellow man. Perhaps as you sit in the hot sun you will understand that it is God that should judge and not you
