I have not written a post for a while, because the events of this point in time are annoying me.

I hear this phrase ‘This great nation’ all of the time, especially now, before an election. But what does God say about this nation?

(Isa 40:17 NIV) “Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.”

I seem to have a problem with everyone around me. I have determined to believe God and that, quite often, requires that I do not believe man. This is one such example. God says all nations are less than nothing and man says ‘This great nation’! It does not matter to me if the whole world says this is a great nation, I am going to believe my Heavenly Father: it is “less” than nothing.

As I consider Scripture and what God says about this nation, I see that it was formed in rebellion to Him. Those around me say the Founding Fathers were heroes and gave up all that they had so that this nation could be formed, but look what God says about it.

Romans 13:1&2 (NIV) “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

The King of the Colonies was also the King of England. If one believes God, then God established him as that authority. The Founding Fathers rebelled against the king that God established and they lost everything that they had because they did so. If one believes God it is plain that, in His eyes, the Founding Fathers are zeros, not heroes.

The Founding Fathers would not pay any taxes to England, but God says pay your taxes. Romans 13:7 (NIV) “Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.” The Founding Fathers owed taxes to England and disobeyed God by not paying them.

The Founding Fathers went beyond rebellion and disobedience and created a system to attempt to remove God from the process of establishing the authorities!

It seems as though everyone around me believes that we vote someone into office! God says that He establishes the authorities and yet those around me say we establish the authorities! Someone is wrong and I am going to believe God, not man.

This is a great example of the blind leading the blind! If God said man should choose the authorities I must have missed it. Can someone point that verse out?

Then I have to ask myself, “If I prayed, would God give us a great president?” But then I have to ask myself “Why would He?” If we error by not believing God and try to do it our way, then why would He reward us? Isn’t it about like a bank robber asking God which bank to rob?

I was physically born in the United States, but later I was spiritually born in the Nation of God. I died to this world and everything in it. I am still here, but now I serve as an ambassador to this world. A proper ambassador would not meddle in the affairs of the country that they are assigned to and I strive to be a proper ambassador, so do not think that I am trying to influence you in any way.

I will not vote and I recently had a brother ask me “If everyone did as you do, how long would this country last?” and I must say that it will last as long as God wants it too. The only difference it makes to me is whether or not I believe my Father.

I am not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet, but I feel like one. Everyone around the prophets in the Old Testament said they were wrong, but they believed God and God credits belief as righteousness.

I believe God.

I do not usually write about myself, but I have reached a point in my quest for understanding that I believe it is necessary to explain how I reached this point.

When I was very young my mother sent me to church every Sunday. I only had to attend what we called Sunday school. I did not stay for the regular church service, because it was not required by my parents. They did not attend, because my father was not a believer and he wanted my mother to be home, to prepare his breakfast. So, I was taught some understanding of the Bible.

When I reached an age that I could rebel and stop attending Sunday school I did.

Much later in life I began to wonder if there really was a God and I started to listen to sermons on the radio while I was driving. There was a radio station that actually read from the Bible, but it stopped, probably because there was no money in/for it.

One program invited anyone that listened to attend the regular church service and I thought it a good idea, so I began to attend.

It seemed as though every sermon was directed to me. God was using the preacher to reach me and I came to the conclusion that I should be baptized.

After I was baptized the sermons no longer seemed directed specifically at me. I know now that it was because I had been given the Holy Spirit to teach me all things and I no longer need a man to teach me. (John 2:27) Actually the preacher did not teach me anything, but convinced me that I needed to repent and be baptized.

Then a very enthusiastic prophecy teacher came to the church that I was attending and I attended every one of his sermons. If I remember correctly he gave a sermon everyday for four days and at the end of the last one he could barely speak. His enthusiasm was contagious. I had not even considered the Old Testament and the teacher’s words and understanding amazed me.

This started me on my quest to understand everything about God and His Word that I could. I told my Father that I wanted to know everything and asked Him to teach me everything. At that time I did not know that He had already given me The Teacher to do just that!

I have head my brothers indicate and even say they do not want to know everything! To that I can only say, “What a complete waste of the gift of the Holy Spirit.” If God did not want us to know everything, He would not have given us a Teacher to teach us everything.

Now, hold on to your hats, because I am about to say something that you have never heard before and if you are not patient you will stop listing and you may not understand what I am about to say.

When I was only a man, before I was baptized, my beginnings could be traced back to Adam and from Adam to dust. Now, dust is only a nice way of saying dirt. But when I was baptized God planted His Seed in me. It was only a Seed and unless it grows it will not be the mature Seed that He wants.

When a seed is planted it should be watered and I was born of the water and the Spirit. (John 3:5&6)

Any seed needs good ground in order to mature and even bad ground can become good if it is fertilized. The Word of God is the only nutrient that a Spiritual plant will accept and I have continued to ingest the Word and the Spirit that lives in me and is part of me has grown. At the same time the dirt that was me has been replaced with the Spirit; the Spirit has increased and the dirt has decreased.

One day, in the near future, my Father is going to harvest me. He is going to lift me up and brush away the remaining dirt from me and I will be the spirit that He has wanted since the time He made me. I will be like Jesus (1Peter 2:4&5).

The first time I was born, I was born a human being and I was called a man. The second time I was born I was born of the Spirit. (John 4:24) If I was called a man, because I was born from man, then what would you call me if I was born from God? Would you call me a god? God does call me a god (Psalms 82 & John 10:34&35). The Word of God has come to me and I am a god.

That is not to say there is more than one God. The one God is in me and that makes me a child of the one God and therefore a god, but it does not make me God.

Daniel asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” and he was told, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.”

This is the time of the end and the Word is no longer sealed. Now we can know all things. That is if you believe that you can. After all you were given the Holy Spirit to teach you all things, so believe that you can and search all things out.

I was gazing at the news the other day and an article caught my eye. It was titled ‘The ugliest woman in the world’. I looked at the photos that were part of the article and as I did so, and thought about it, I became appalled.

No, I was not appalled by the appearance of the young lady. I was appalled by my own thoughts. I had looked at the photos just as my Father said men do, “Man looks at the outward appearance”, not as God does: “but the LORD looks at the heart.”. (1 Sam 16:7)

As I read the article and looked at her heart, I realized that she was really quite pretty; and I was quite ugly.

When we reach Heaven and are given our heavenly bodies, they will be perfect. The man or woman that is missing an arm or leg on this earth will not be missing anything in Heaven. Those who are paralyzed here will leap and dance for joy in Heaven.

Now, I do not know if this young lady is saved, but if she is and if I know my God and Father, and I certainly do know my God and Father, this young lady who is called the ugliest woman in the world today; will be completely healed and in Heaven will be called ‘The most beautiful woman in Heaven’.

Not only am I under the law, but I want to be under the law.

This is to explain what I said, so that you might know what I mean. Sometimes what I mean is confused by what another knows. That is not to say that another does not understand; only that we are looking at Scripture from a different angle.

This is how I view God’s law “I am still under the law”. That is not to say that I am under the penalty of the second death, for violating the law. However, not only am I under the law, but I want to be under the law!

All of the law is built on the two main, or most important, commandments. We are told this in Matthew.

(Mat 22:36-40 NIV) “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

This is also said in Mark 12:28-34.
(Mark 12:28-31 NIV) “One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. ‘The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

And also said in Luke 10:25-28.
(Luke 10:25-28 NIV) “On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” He answered: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

Think about these two commandments and combine them with Mathew 5:17-20.
(Mat 5:17 – 19 NIV) “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

While you are thinking about Mark, then think about (Mark 12:33 NIV) “To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice, but the man, that was speaking with Jesus, was “not” told that he was wrong; therefore that Jesus was more important than obeying the law. But he was commended as answering wisely! (Mark 12:34 NIV) “When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.”

I am trying to say that obeying the law is more important than relying on Jesus to take the punishment, that we deserve, for not obeying the law. Then, looking at that statement from a different angle, because I have not always obeyed the law, Jesus is more important than the law to me. What I mean is that if I had always obeyed the law I would not need a Savior.

You see that when this test is all complete, we will be made like Jesus and we will no longer sin. We will be made perfect, like Jesus, who was and is perfect, and we will no longer violate the two greatest commandments, and therefore we will not sin.

That is not to say that Jesus is, or will not be important. Jesus will be our King, instead of our Savior. One could certainly say our Savior first, and our King second, but, to me, that would be just splitting hairs.

You may have considered me an amateur at studying the Word of God, because I said that we are still under the law, but if everyone could obey the law we would not have needed a Savior and Jesus would not have had to die in our place. I am not exalting myself for my understanding, but admitting that I am a sinner, in dire need of a Savior. My failure has resulted in the death of Jesus!

In Heaven we will all obey the law and there will be peace. And we will all, “perfectly”, love the Lord, our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and with all our strength. And we will Love our neighbor as our self.

So, if you follow my logic, not only am I under the law, but I want to be under the law! I am most grateful for Jesus, that He died in my place, and that, because he did, I have the chance to become a child of God. However, as I understand, obeying the law is very, very, very important.

(Mat 7:21 NIV) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Though we no longer face the penalty for disobeying the law, shouldn’t we instruct others to obey the law, instead of just saying “we are no longer under the law”?

At the very least shouldn’t we say that if we obeyed the law Jesus would not have had to die?

Having said all of this, I do not believe you will accept it as gospel. Even though most Christians believe that iron can sharpen iron, it can not! No one tries to sharpen a knife, with another knife, and yet everyone claims that it is possible! (Well, only Christians. Those who actually make knives and swords do not). The verse really means that man cannot sharpen man. So, I cannot sharpen you. Please forgive me for trying.

If you do not accept what I said about the law, then please consider which commandment that you think we should not, or are not required, to obey: 1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, or 2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

What comes first in my mind? Shame that I did not, and do not, obey the commandments, or relief that Jesus died in my place? First shame, because if I had obeyed, Jesus would not have had to take my place. But, then, absolute love for him, because He did.

You see, it is not about me, or us, but about God and what He wants from, and for, us.

I hope this eases your mind about me. I am a Christian, a child of God, and Jesus Christ is my Savior. I am not saying anything different than you would say. I am only using the phrase that we all use “Under the law” and adding my understanding to it. The phrase triggers a set response from some brothers (and sisters), but not from me and it seems to cause discord between us.

One more try, on my part. Suppose Judgment Day has come and you have lived your life not trying to obey the Law, because you believe that you are saved by the sacrificial death of our Lord and the Law is no longer important. So, you stand before God and make that claim. But our Father asks you this question, “Why do you think that it is of little importance to love Me, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and then to love your neighbor as yourself?

Form your answer now, while you still have time to think it over.

I say “this” Christian, because I am, and can, only speak for myself.

I was born a citizen of the United States. I was raised to believe this Country was a gift from God. That we were a free Country, not under a king, dictator, or any ruler, but ruled by all of the people. The home of the brave, where we chose those to guide and lead us and if we were not satisfied with them, we should vote them out of office and someone else in.

This all sounded pretty good to me. It was what I wanted to hear and to believe!

However, I began to explore the question of “Is there really a God”. I found the same answer as anyone, who will ponder “truthfully” that question. I say “truthfully”, because many think about it with the goal of attempting to prove there is no God.

When I finally reached the point where I had to admit to myself that there has to be a God, I knew that I was dead to God, because of all my sins. The proper thing to do with a dead body is to bury it. So, I allowed someone to bury me in the water of baptism. When I came up out of that water the Holy Spirit was a part of me and because the Spirit of God cannot die, I cannot die. That is to really die, as this body will perish, but I will not die.

I am a new being. I was a six, the same number as Satan, but God added one to me and I became a seven, the number of completeness. The one, that He added, is the Holy Spirit.

Now, all my brothers should already know this, but they do not seem to understand why God gave us His Spirit. The answer is to teach us all things (John 14:26), but my brothers do not ask the Spirit about all things. That is all things about God, not all things about this universe. Questions about this universe are not important, as this universe will pass away.

I said this so you might understand that I only listen to God now. I question everything that this world tells me, using Scripture as the ultimate reference of truth.

The world told me that this Country was a gift from God, but when I read Romans 13:1&2, I reached a different conclusion.

I was told, when I was a child, that if you want to understand as someone else understands then “put yourself in their shoes”. In other words try to see things as they do.

So, I read Romans 13:1&2 as if I lived in Pennsylvania and the year was 1775, and the verse clearly said, do not rebel against the king, because God had appointed him and if I rebelled against him I was actually rebelling against God Himself.

I know Scripture said the same thing to the Founding Fathers as it says to me, because they had the same Bible that I have.

Now, this year, I will not attend Church on the 28th of June and the 5th of July, because one of those days the Church, that I attend, will celebrate rebellion against God. And they do not even know that they are!

I understand, so I will not participate. I have tried to explain to my brothers, but iron cannot sharpen iron and so I cannot sharpen them. They will not ask God if this Country is a gift from Him and then read His Word for the answer, but they will ask each other the same question; and believe the answer of their fellow man!

At first I was angered by their refusal to understand, but now I am deeply hurt by it. My brothers are lukewarm, just as Revelation says the last Church will be. They believe what they want to believe and hire preachers to say what their itching ears want to hear (2 Tim 4:3), just as Scripture says. They are in great danger and do not, will not, see it.

I am to the point of tears, as I write this. I was taught not to cry for myself. It is a form of self pity and only reinforces the pity. But the sadness that I am feeling is not for myself, but for my brothers.

Please brothers, wake up, this Church is the Church of Laodicea. The last Church spoken of in Revelation; the last Church in time. It is lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. It has one foot in the world and one foot in Heaven and it doesn’t put forth the effort to understand.

If you think your attitude brings me to tears, what do you think it does to our Heavenly Father, that we celebrate rebellion against Him: and even in the very house that we claim is His!

March 25, 2015

I have found that almost no one knows what I am talking about when I use the phrase “Tithing Feast”!

All my Christian brothers seem to think that God gave everything to Israel and then demanded 10% back and, if you are a good Christian, you will give back to God 10% of any increase of wealth you acquire, because that is what He demanded of Israel. Is that what you think about Tithing?

Scripture says that God gave Israel Tithing so that they would learn to revere Him. (Deu 14:23 NIV) “Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always.”

Knowing this, because Scripture says it, I ask myself; “How does God, withholding 10% of what He has given to me, teach me to revere Him?” Well, it doesn’t. Because the Bible is true and man is not, it was apparent to me that I did not understand Tithing.

Tithing has been mixed up with “tenth”. The Tithe was really an example of how good God is to His children. It is a ritual not a ratio. Tithe is a proper name for a ritual and should be capitalized. You cannot understand the basic lesson of Tithing if you view Tithing as it is taught by man. The amount that God specified was only to determine what was His. He did not give it to Israel in the first place. It was His and they were only to take care of it.

We, because we are only human, and therefore self-centered and greedy, tend to look at the Tithe as God wanting 10% back from what He had given us. That is not at all what Tithing is about.

Because we have the Mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16) and therefore can know what He thinks, let us consider Tithing from His point of view.

Christ looks at Israel and says (to anyone who will listen), “My father gave Israel 9 times more than He kept for Himself and they still stole from Him!” Nine times wasn’t enough to those who wanted everything.

What is even more amazing is that God did not keep anything for Himself. Two out of three years God gave His part to Israel to enjoy with a feast and the third year He gave it to the poor. Think about that, God gave His children twice as much as He gave the poor: a double portion! And two out of three years, His Children were to splurge all of His wealth on a feast in His honor! They were to enjoy His share!

If you view Tithing as the world views it, it is all about money and obligation. However, if you view Tithing as God meant it, it is all about how wonderful our Father really is.

If you have never heard this view, or understanding, of the Tithe, then understand this. You have only yourself to blame. You have considered men as your teachers and listened to them without question. You have not been Bereans and checked with Scripture to see if what was said is true.

Even though that is true, it does not release those who call themselves teachers, from guilt. Those who claim to teach Scripture should be teaching all of it, and if they taught all about Tithing everyone would know about the Tithing Feast and they would understand what a blessing it was, instead of viewing it as an obligation.

Because men believe in money, more than they believe in God, the true meaning of the Tithe has been twisted and almost lost to understanding. Leaders think money is the key to spread the Gospel, when it is really faith that is the key.

If you study and think about Tithing and reach a proper understanding of it, you will realize that no one can Tithe today. You may well give ten percent to the Church, but where will you eat the Tithe?

If I have not stepped on everyone’s toes yet, then consider this. Israel was only to take the Tithe to the storehouse the third year. If you give your tenth every year, then you are giving two to three times the amount that God asked of His children for the Tithe. Could too much money have helped corrupt the Church?

Don’t take my word for anything. Be a Berean and test what I say, using Scripture as the standard. Stop sitting in the pews like a knot on a log, not questioning what is said or taught. Take your questions to the Spirit, which lives within you and find His answer, in His Word (Scripture).

January 22, 2015

I have read this phrase many times and did not understand it. Recently, as I read it again, I thought that it was not time to know the answer, but then I thought, we are so close to the end of this age it must be time. As I had this thought an answer was given me.

If you read anything that I write, you know that I am not a teacher, so you should understand that I am not teaching. I am only trying to explain what I believe God has revealed to me.

The abomination that causes desolation would have to be something that opposes God. Our Father is love and the giver of all life, so the abomination that causes desolation would be something that causes hate and death. Ask yourself what in this world, at this time, is causing hate and death?

Is it not Islam?

Islam is the abomination that causes desolation. It is a religion that was created only to destroy God’s children: both Jews and Christians. The children of Islam are taught from birth to hate Jews and Christians. It’s goals are to dominate the world and kill. It offers nothing else. There is no forgiveness for the followers of Islam, especially for women as they are treated as if they are children of God; the same as Jews and Christians.

Daniel says, “And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation”, and there is the Islamic “Dome of the Rock” on the Temple Mount and it looks to me that it could be viewed as, “on a wing of the Temple”. The most Holy Place to a Jew is the Temple Mount and there is a mosque, a house of prayer to another god, proudly displayed inside the Temple walls.

We are told, (Mat 24:15&16 NIV) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel–let the reader understand– then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” This seems as though it is a final warning. That when you see it the end has come, but the abomination that causes desolation was set up in the middle of the seven (Dan 9:27). Perhaps it means that, when you understand what the abomination is, then the end is near.

Islam causes desolation for everyone, even it’s own followers.

Does anyone understand how odd or different it is that there is a religion that its sole purpose is to oppose another religion? What other religion, or religions, can this be said of?

The most important thing that God has done for mankind is to give us a Savior. That Savior had to be pure in order to qualify to be a Savior. Our Savior had to come directly from God to be pure. That is Jesus, the Son of God, but the Koran says Allah had no son.

You see, this when viewed with truth, is true. God had a Son and He sent Him to earth to save those who would love Him and He gives life to those who do. Allah has no son and wants none. Allah is not going to save anyone. He can not, even if he wanted to. His followers claim that they love death more than life and that is all Allah offers.

Who but Satan could, or would, create a religion to oppose God. If Satan set this religion up, who do you think Allah is? Wouldn’t he claim to be God? And of course, he could not use any name of the true God, therefore he chose Allah for a name and Mohammad for his prophet.

The Koran does not use the same names of characters that the Bible uses. If it did one would immediately see through the deception.

Islam is as Islam does. It is a lie to call Islam a peaceful religion. Those who want to believe Islam is a peaceful religion have been deceived and we should feel sorry for them, rather than hate them.

Satan is only stirring up hate and trying to condemn all mankind. He cannot kill us himself as God will not give him that power, so he does the next best thing and tricks those that follow him to kill: especially kill the children of God. God would not allow Satan to kill Job (Job 2:6) and I, for one, do not believe God will allow Satan to kill me.

If you are a child of God, then remember this, no one can kill you. It is true that Satan can remove you from this earth and it seems that you are killed, but to remove you from this earth is to place you into Heaven: you will never die. If Satan does not remove you from this earth God will. Everyone must die the first death, whether or not, they are the children of God. Do not deny Christ, because Satan demands it.

Pity the followers of Allah, do not hate them. They are only killing themselves, when they kill others.

By the way, the Koran requires Islamic believers to lie to those who are not believers. So, they are required to claim that Islam is a peaceful religion. Have you ever been deceived? Pity them, do not hate them.
